About Rafael’s Catering

Rafael’s Catering was founded by Rafael and Ester Santos in 1982. After serving 21 years in the US Navy, specializing in mess hall management and culinary duty, Rafael decided to start his own catering business with his wife Ester.

Making traditional Filipino dishes, such as Menudo, Pancit, Adobo and of course the island classic: Lechon (whole Roasted Pig), Rafael’s Catering also started specializing in more traditional American food fare: Roast Beef, Rotisserie Chicken, Italian Pastas and more.

Using only the freshest ingredients, we’re dedicated to providing quality food at affordable prices. Rafael’s Catering continues to be a family owned and operated business, proudly serving the Bay Area for over 33 years.
